Stubborn fat deposits often become a major burden to those affected. As a result, many people try to improve these problem areas through exercise and a healthy, nutritious diet. However, if such measures fail to yield results, aesthetic medicine has a range of effective methods to reduce body fat.

In cryolipolysis (also known as ‘CoolSculpting®’), we offer our patients an innovative and exceptionally gentle treatment method. This minimally invasive treatment involves cooling fat tissue in a controlled procedure. It is a method without any scarring or long recovery periods.

At Central Aesthetics, we offer professional CoolSculpting® as a gentle treatment for various areas of the body. Thereby we can offer our patients a method to eliminate troubling fat deposits without the need for a surgical procedure. For more information on this innovative fat removal method, simply get in touch with us. We’d be happy to tell you more about the procedure and advise you on the potential results in your specific case.

Frequently asked questions on Cryolipolysis / Coolsculpting®

CoolSculpting®, also known as cryolipolysis, is a minimally invasive method for treating local fat pads. It works by cooling fat tissue in a targeted procedure. In this treatment, the therapist uses a special device that cools fat cells to around 4 degrees Celsius.

Cryolipolysis is primarily suitable for any part of the body to which the treatment device can be properly applied. At Central Aesthetics, we particularly use CoolSculpting® to treat the hips, stomach, upper arms, neck and chin, as well as the inside of the thighs.

However, the procedure is less suitable for use in regions where the tissue is very flat and firm.

To treat cellulite, Cryolipolysis is suitable only to a limited extend. Cellulite forms as a result of connective tissue fibres which run between cells and therefore cause contractions in the skin. Aesthetic medicine has a range of effective therapies which can be used to combat the problem. Of course, we would be happy to advise you personally.

We recommend that our patients consciously monitor their diet after a CoolSculpting® procedure.

Exactly how many sessions you’ll need depends on your desired outcome. To begin with, we’ll carry out the treatment once. Afterwards, your therapist will work with you to decide on any further treatment sessions.

Cryolipolysis is a minimally invasive fat reduction method which requires neither surgery nor anaesthetic. As a result, there is no risk of infection or other surgical risks which apply to classic liposuction. What’s more, in contrast to liposuction, we don’t make any incisions in the skin or remove fat tissue with cannulas.

You only need to schedule a short rest period at the most after CoolSculpting®, and can go about your social obligations as normal straight away.
